Celebrity hunters and their National hunting show crews film successful Rio Grande Turkey hunts on Clay County ranches while competing for the coveted title of 2010 Turkey Fest Champion.
Two new events are scheduled for Turkey Fest 2010 to give YOU ample opportunity to participate and experience Clay County at its finest: The Battle of the Beards and The Turkey Tailgate Chili Cookoff! Join in these new events and then settle down for a steak dinner and an evening with the pros at the ever-popular Full Strut Banquet.

The Battle of the Beards is a local competition created for hunters of all ages. Prizes are awarded in youth and adult divisions. The overall champion goes head-to-head with the Celebrity Team "pros" for the title of Turkey Fest Champion! Pre-registration is required.

The Turkey Tailgate Chili Cook-off provides chili cooks two opportunities to beat the competition in a CASI division and a special Turkey Chili division. Heaping bowls of chili are served up to the music of Shantell and special guest, Ray Wylie Hubbard ! For more information about the chili cook-off, call Byron Baber at (940) 733-0938. The Full Strut Banquet, always a sell-out, provides you with a steak dinner and an opportunity to bid on a guided and filmed hunt with your favorite Celebrity Team. In addition to the Live Auction, the evening features a silent auction filled with hunts, gear, and even some girly stuff along ith entertainment, and the crowning of the 2010 Turkey Fest Champ!
